Daniel P. Northrup MHA - Founder & President
Mr. Northrup is an expert in the healthcare field with thirty-five years of experience managing hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers and other professional work in the healthcare industry.
His broad base of experiences in the healthcare field includes specialty work in gerontology, third party reimbursement (Medicare and Medicaid) and managed care. He also has a strong background in health education and has held adjunct teaching positions at the University of New Hampshire and the Dartmouth College Medical School - Department of Community and Family Medicine.
Mr. Northrup has held positions as the President and CEO of two small community hospitals in New Hampshire and New York in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s and Vice President of Professional Services at the Community Hospital of Lancaster (PA). He also served as Special Assistant to the President of Elliot Hospital and Health Northeast in Manchester, New Hampshire from 1985 to 1989. During that time he achieved Member status with the American College of Healthcare Executives. In 1990 Mr. Northrup moved his career into the area of long term care where he held Administrator positions at several nursing and rehabilitation facilities in two New England states. Mr. Northrup is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and a member of the American College of Healthcare Administrators (ACHA). He was also one of the few individuals in the country to achieve Professional Certification through the ACHA in 1993. Mr. Northrup was also a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers with credentials as an Advanced Professional.
He has been actively involved with many other professional and community groups throughout his career, many of which are focused on leading healthcare issues. Mr. Northrup received his B.A. degree in Health Education from Montclair State University and a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from George Washington University. He also served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era.

Deborah Bakaletz - Medicaid Application Specialist
Deborah has extensive experience working with public benefit programs. She worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance for more than 30 years. Deborah's expertise includes all facets of the Medicaid application process from initial intake through final approval. Deborah is our senior Medicaid Application Specialist and has been associated with ParentCareUSA since 2004.

Lisa Dionne BA - Medicaid Application Specialist
Lisa has held a number of key positions in the customer service industry and retail sector since beginning her professional career twenty years ago. Lisa is a highly organized, detail oriented and strong communicator who has very quickly demonstrated that she knows how to get the job done. Lisa is also a relative newcomer to the ParentCareUSA team. Many of our clients have already sent letters and notes thanking Lisa for her compassion to their needs and her commitment to customer service.

Elizabeth Duffy BSN RN – Geriatric Care Manager
Elizabeth has over 15 years of nursing experience working with clients and families, with a focus on helping individuals remain safely in their homes and communities. She also teaches in the Nursing Program at Salem State University, and is continuing her own education, pursuing an Advanced Nursing degree as a Nurse Practitioner. Beth has been associated with the ParentCareUSA clinical team since 2009.

Karen K. Fennimore MS - Client Services Manager
Karen is an expert in information technology and program management. She brings her talents and skills to our team working as Client Services Manager. She has personal experience as an adult caregiver for her parents, who required substantial support and services at home. Karen joined the ParentCareUSA team in 2002.

Judy has extensive experience in marketing and customer service. Judy has worked in the business field for over 25 years. She is certified in medical billing and coding, and has a background in tax preparation. & Care Manager
Lizbeth has extensive experience working with the elderly in several settings including hospitals, nursing homes and social service agencies. She is also a caregiver providing support and services to her elderly parents and disabled brother. Lizbeth has been associated with the ParentCareUSA team since 2001.

Margaret (Peggy) Prince – Medicaid Application Specialist
Peggy has worked in nursing homes on the North Shore and their regional offices since 1993 primarily as a Business Office Manager. She has in-depth knowledge of the medicaid process from the perspective of both family members and long term care facilities. After attending St. Mary's College of MD, she worked for hospitals in New York and for a government contractor in Maryland and Southern California. Although a relative newcomer, Peggy is a valuable addition to the ParentCareUSA team and has already established a strong record of accomplishment.

Mary has substantial professional experience working with people of all ages, but most recently with the elderly. Her work history includes significant management and staff positions in hospitals, long term care facilities and Home care and Hospice agencies. Mary attends many continuing education programs that focus on geriatrics to add to her knowledge base. Mary has been associated with the ParentCareUSA clinical team since 2009.

Darcia has extensive experience in providing exceptional customer service. She has worked in the marketing and advertising field for over 20 years, servicing numerous national and Boston area clients. Most recently Darcia has been accepted to the Massachusetts School of Law, with her intended field of study to be Family and Elderlaw. Darcia is a relative newcomer to the ParentCareUSA team. Her commitment to providing excellent customer service has already been noted by many of our clients.

Rick Weisberg BS - Marketing and Sales Manager
Rick brings over fifteen years healthcare experience to the ParentCareUSA team. He was formerly the Chief Operating Officer of a large healthcare company. He is an expert in many facets of elder care options, with a strong focus on the processing of Medicaid applications. Rick works closely with nursing homes, assisted living facilities and rehabilitation facilities.
